An old form, given a new purpose.
Some objects stay with you because of what they are. Others because of where they came from.
The shape of Junco was inspired by an old animal drinking trough discovered in our studio, inside a former dairy factory. Its generous, rounded form was reinterpreted as a table lamp, bringing a piece of that industrial past into a new context.
Handmade by local artisans using eco-concrete incorporating cork waste, Junco combines a raw, tactile material with a warm, diffused light. Its imperfections are part of the design, no two pieces are exactly alike.
